racquet 2

As for my racquet I am using the Yonex muscle power 21. The question here is how do we choose the right racquet?.

First know what type of game that suit you. It means that you are either a defensive or attacking player. Then secondly check your budget. An expensive racquet does not mean that it is suitable for you. Go to the shop and try the racquet, try hold it and swing don't let the sales person choose for you, you can ask for recomandation but try to feel the racquet yourself. Your wrist must not feel pain or heavy when you swing the racquet. If you feel pain or heavy then the racquet is not suitable for you.

If for beginner just get a cheap racquet and train with it. When you get better then switch to a good racquet. The cheap racquet usually is made of steel and this is usually heavy. A good racquet is mostly made of light material like carbon or titanium or graphite.

A racquet for Yonex, we can know the average price and the quality of the racquet by looking at the bottom of the racquet and see where it is manufacture. If it is made in china then it is most likely a beginer racquet, if it is made in taiwan or japan then it is a good racquet. The most expensive one is made in japan.

A racquet can last for quite a long time if you take good care of it. Rough playing and droping or knocking the racquet to a hard surface can cause the racquet to crack. A good grip at the racquet handel is recomanded. Grip is material mostly made of ruber or wool. Keep the racquet in the bag after usage.
